I'm New

Welcome

The Assembly Brookhaven is a place where people can meet Jesus,  engage in life-giving community, and everyone is welcome. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with Christ, discover their gifts and use them for God's glory. Join us for our Sunday service!

What To Expect

We know visiting a new church can be intimidating.

WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS THE ASSEMBLY?
We are a church passionate about loving God and loving People. Our heart is to be a spiritual community that not only loves each other but strives to love our city and county. We say it this way — “Love God, Live the Life, Share Christ.” If you would like to know more about what we believe here at The Assembly you can click the following link to read the 16 Fundamental Truths.

WHEN AND WHERE ARE THE SERVICES?
We have our Main Service that meets on Sunday mornings at 10:00am, and Wednesday night breakout sessions that meet across our campus at 6:00pm.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
There is no dress code for attending services at The Assembly. Some attenders dress casually and some dress up — it’s all good! You are free to come exactly as you are, so wear whatever you are most comfortable in.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?
When you arrive at a The Assembly service, you will enter in to the main lobby. You’ll be greeted by a friendly smile from one of our greeters. There will be some refreshments for you to enjoy on us, and you can check your kids, birth through kindergarten, into our nursery/Pre-K ministries, Assembly Nursery/Pre-K.   Older children, grades 1st - 6th, will be in Assembly Kids. Remember to walk the older kids over to the Student Life Building which is to the left of the main entrance if you are facing the church from the street before service begins. We sign them in for your convenience and we ask that you sign them out for their safety.  If it is your first time with us, we invite parents to step over and view our Assembly Kids’ area.

WHAT IS SERVICE LIKE?
We always start our services with a time of energetic, passionate praise and worship. Once worship is over, we will share a few announcements about what’s happening at our church through video and live communicators. We’ll then continue our worship through an offering, which flows right into the weekend message. Most weekends, our Lead Pastor, Jim Mannon will preach. Our services close with a brief time to respond to God in both worship and prayer.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Our children ministries provide an amazing weekend experience for kids at their level. Visit the Assembly Kids, Assembly Nursery/Pre-K check-in area where our team will register your child. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or special requirements during the check-in time. If we need to contact you during service, we will text you directly to your phone. At the end of the service, simply go to the Assembly Kids Building or the Assembly Nursery/Pre-K entrance in the Sanctuary behind the stage, then your child will be released to you or those designated on your check-in information.

HOW CAN I MEET OTHERS AND GET CONNECTED?
The best way to get connected is through START. START is a Sunday afternoon experience that meets on campus after our Sunday service with childcare and lunch provided. We offer START almost every month. In START, you’ll hear our story, catch the vision and values of our church, discover more about your God given abilities and purpose and find out how you can join in to what God is doing here at The Assembly.

If you have further questions about The Assembly, you can contact our Office Admin, Monica Mechell, during our office hours (Mon.-Thurs. 8am-4pm) by phone. You can also contact her by email.
